GMCPauls Truck Parts
accepts MasterCard, and Visa using our credit card
processor for payments for your convenience. We also offer
payment options through PayPal including PayPal Credit with Buy Now Pay

Body
Part Installation
Due
to the nature of the body panels and the manufacturing process involved and
transportation of the sheet metal products you receive they may have minor
scratches, dings, small dents and other minor imperfections which are considered
normal. These imperfections are easily corrected during the initial filling,
priming, blocking and sanding on your restoration. We do not consider dings,
minor dents, scratches or any other minor imperfection to be defective or
damaged for the above mentioned reason, nor does scratched primer or over spray
on a item constitute a defective part. All sheet metal, body panels, etc....
will require some preparation and manipulation during installation for a quality
fit and finish.
Please
be aware the
tolerances on classic trucks were nowhere near today’s standards. The
assembly line process was done by hand during the construction of these
trucks not by robots as found on current assembly lines. This process
resulted in deviations in one vehicle to another which end up quite often
making mounting points and bolt holes unique to each vehicle. Due to this
there is no way that every part can be considered a direct bolt in
replacement and you should anticipate having to use shims, elongate holes,
etc….. to achieve the fit and finish desired. This also means you
may need to adjust adjacent body panels to the new part or parts in order
to achieve the best fit possible due to the manufacturing variances and differences
from 1 truck to another that occurred during manufacturing.
Years of hard heavy use,
neglect, previous body work or damage, weathering and rusting can further exacerbate
the issues with the body you will be attaching the parts on. We recommend you hire
professionals with the knowledge, tools, skills and experience needed to
install your new body panels.
Special Order Items
Electrical parts, Carpet,
Upholstery, drop
suspension parts, pre-bent line kits, under-bed conversion tanks and all other parts designated special order items are non-returnable for Exchange or Refund. Special
order items must be canceled within 24 hours of ordering otherwise the item can
not be cancelled for refund or exchange.
Back Ordered Items
We will notify you of any back orders by email if a
items not in stock when you place your order.
You then have the option of leaving the item on back order to ship upon arrival
or you may request at anytime that we cancel & refund the item before it
ships. If a item is not expected back in stock within 30 days of the order we
will notify you of this and void & refund that item from the order since we
can not supply it in a timely manner.
Refused Shipments
All refused orders will be
subject to a 30% restocking fee. GMCPauls Truck Parts will consider the entire
order canceled and void with no notification to the
customer. The customer will be billed 30% plus all freight
charges to and from destination.
Returns & Cancellations
All sales are final unless part received is defective or other than ordered.
No returns
after 30 days. Defective parts or parts other than ordered
( shipped by us in error ) that are received must be
returned for exchange within 30 days of purchase otherwise you void the ability
to exchange it. All parts sold by GMCPauls parts are warranted to you the original
purchaser, to be free from defects in the manufacturing and materials for a
period of 30 days from the date of original purchase from us. You must notify us
by email within the warranty period to make a claim, we will then issue you a
RMA# for the return. All defective parts will be replaced with a non-defective part
or repaired or refunded at our discretion and we
will pay all shipping to you ( Subject to our discretion we may or may not issue a
call tag for defective parts so do not dispose of parts without our
confirmation). GMCPauls Truck Parts will
not accept returned goods without prior authorization. Packages received without
a RMA# will not be opened and will be refused at time of delivery or marked
return to sender if delivered without our knowledge. Customer will pay freight
on all returned parts and these items must be returned in their original
package, under no circumstances will shipping charges be
refunded for shipping parts to the customer. Refunds
are for the cost of the merchandise only, not including shipping and handling.
Important: Any item which has been altered, painted,
installed or deemed non-resalable by GMCPauls
Truck Parts are not eligible for return so test fit any parts before painting. All literature,
including books, manuals, diagrams, and printed materials are non-returnable due
to the nature of the material included. Truck Freight Items, Electrical parts, Carpet,
Glass Products, Upholstery, drop
suspension parts, pre-bent line kits, under-bed conversion tanks and all
special order items are non-returnable for Exchange or Refund. Liability of
GMCPauls Truck Parts and our suppliers, under this warranty is limited to
repair or replacement or refund of the defective or incorrect part. GMCPauls truck parts and our
suppliers, hereby disclaims all other warranties, whether expressed or implied. GMCPauls truck parts and our suppliers, are not responsible
for damage caused by abuse, incorrect installation, modification, shipping
accidents, or normal wear; nor is GMCPauls or it's suppliers, responsible for
any labor charges, inconvenience or other expenses related to the installation or
use of our products.
We DO NOT Accept Returns
on OPENED Electrical and Electronic Parts - No Exceptions
If you plug in the
part or open or tear or unseal the plastic or shrink wrap on an electrical or
electronic part you CAN NOT return the part for any reason. Instead of using
proper diagnostic procedures, some resort to trial-and-error parts swapping when
they don't know how to fix an electrical problem. When parts they have installed
do not fix their problem, they want to return them and try something else.
Electrical parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing
therefore we can not accept returns on these items unless they are NOT
plunged-in, opened or unsealed.
Cancellations-
A order without special order items may be canceled at anytime up until
shipment occurs. Once a order has shipped it can not be canceled and any refused
shipments or returns are subject to restocking fees.
Special
order items must be canceled within 24 hours of ordering otherwise the item can
not be cancelled for refund or exchange. Please email us to request a RMA# for
eligible returns. Returns submitted without a RMA# will be refused and returned
to the sender.
Truck Freight
Products to large or heavy to be shipped by UPS (fenders, hoods, etc..)
must be shipped by Truck Freight. Your order must be prepaid in advance
including freight charges. Be sure to inspect all freight on delivery for
damages and if any minor damages are discovered note this on the bill of lading
when signing if the part is considered to heavily damaged to repair or is other
than ordered you should
refuse delivery. Failure to refuse a incorrectly shipped part makes you

In order to address some confusion concerning truck freight shipments, we need to share some information with you. Our negotiated truck freight rates are based on
commercial business address deliveries of palletized goods and standard business hour schedules. Usually, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
The expectation of a business LTL delivery is to have a defined loading and unloading area that is accessible with a tractor/trailer rig. It’s also expected that a forklift or pallet jack would be available to unload the freight. Knowing this will make it easier to understand what are known as Accessorial Charges.
Accessorial Charges are any fees that are added to the delivery charges.
Common accessorial fees include Lift Gate, Inside Delivery, Residential Delivery, Limited Access Delivery, Construction Site Delivery, Farm/Rural Route Delivery, Delivery Appointment or Notification Fees, Redelivery, Segregating/Sorting/Material Handling and COD Charges.
Costs for these fees vary between the trucking companies and each shipment can be charged for more than just one. These charges are not included in the
normal Freight costs. The good news is that most of these fees are less if added to the shipping bill
before shipping rather than on the delivery manifest by the freight carrier. Please discuss this with us so we can save time and money by avoiding Freight Charge Backs.
Residential deliveries- Occur during
normal business hours of 8am-5pm so you will need to arrange to have someone on
hand to accept the delivery if no one is normally home and when providing the
contact phone # someone will need to available at that number Mon-Fri 8am-5pm
for them to arrange the delivery. If the freight carrier is unable to reach you
within 48 hours of the 1st attempt storage fees may apply and will be billed to
the card used to make the purchase. we will notify you prior to any such
billing.
U.P.S. Oversize
All items considered "OS" (oversize) can be shipped via
Fed-Ex or UPS, with a minimum fee of 30lbs on oversized I items and 70lbs for
oversized II items. There may be products listed in this catalog which are oversized
but may not be indicated as such. We reserve the right to charge an oversize fee
on any order which contains oversize products, even though it may not be
indicated in catalog.
Insurance
Each order is shipped fully insured for loss or damage.
Damage Claims or Missing Items
Always check the contents of your shipment in the presence of the person
delivering the merchandise as we insure all of your shipment in your behalf. You must
notify us by email at

within 24-48 HOURS of receiving your parts of any issues. If you will not be available
during this time you will need to arrange for someone to inspect shipment for
you. If any damages or missing items are
found, at a later date you lose the ability to claim
them missing as they may have been misplaced or damaged after delivery. You must
inspect your shipment promptly upon receipt as GMCPauls will not honor a damage
claim after 72 hours from the date of delivery. Should any damage occur, immediately notify USPS, UPS,
Fed-Ex Ground or
the truck freight company delivering your goods to file a damage claim. If you require a replacement
quicker than the carrier pays your damage claim you can pay for a 2nd and have
it ship immediately. Do not dispose of the damaged part, box or packing material
until claim is settled. Once we release your part to the carrier we are no longer contractually
responsible for any damages that occur beyond our control for the part once its
in the carriers possession. Notify GMCPauls Truck
Parts customer service department for instructions on returning
damaged goods after claim settlement if needed, under no circumstances should
item be re-shipped prior to claim settlement in order to meet claims
requirements by carriers. GMCPauls Truck Parts
accepts no responsibility for parts damaged in transit. No credits or refunds
will be issued until claim is settled. You have the option of having claim paid
directly to you or to us. If paid to you you will then need to reorder the
parts, if paid
to us we will immediately re-ship the part upon claim settlement. Damages that
occur in shipping are through no fault of us and your assistance is required
on the proper settlement of any claim, your refusal to assist in the claims process
or failing to provide the damage claim documentation needed for the carrier nullifies
your ability to be reimbursed for damages in shipping.
Sheet metal parts are very susceptible to
slight damage due to the nature of the product and shipment methods. No credit
will be issued for sheet metal that has small pecks, dings, scratches, or other
minor flaws. ANY body panel (Factory original or reproduction) requires minor
body work when installed for a show quality finish.
Tailgates and fenders are packaged as securely as possible but are 2 components
that are very large and easily damaged. These pieces are best shipped truck freight
to receive them 100% damage free which is what we recommend. However we leave
the shipping method choice to you, If you do not specify Truck Freight delivery
on these 2 types of items and Fed-Ex or UPS damages them you will need to repair
damages as damage claims will most likely be denied by them due to their being a
large sheet metal part.

Restocking Fee
There is a 30% re-stocking fee on all correctly shipped non-defective parts
that are eligible for return. To be eligible for return all parts must be
returned unused
in their original sealed packaging where applicable. Shipping costs are not refundable.
Sheet Metal
GMCPauls Truck Parts recommends that all sheet metal parts be test fitted
prior to painting or modification of the part as we will not be
responsible for any damage or loss caused by delays, failures, or any
consequential damage arising from any cause whatsoever, nor for the labor,
transportation, or any other charges incurred in the replacement or repair of a
defective item. We try to accurately describe all
parts on our web site and update items as changes occur when we are aware of the
parts changes. We however will not be responsible for any changes or defects that have occurred
that we are not aware of other than to replace the item if defective or other
than described or offer a refund upon its return.
